Managing Quantity Surveyor

A great opportunity for an established Managing Quantity Surveyor to join a Major contractor in the Education sector. The company has an enviable workload in the sector, with projects ranging from £20m – £100m in value.

Responsibilities

• Advising on financial feasibility on projects at early stages
• Assessing returns from sub contractors and awarding work packages
• Monitoring and measuring actual expenditure against budgeted project expenditure through CVR reporting
• Checking, collating information from your team and producing accurate financial reports

Requirements

• Managing QS with experience managing teams delivering new and refurbishment/extension projects in the South London and Kent regions
• Experience in working on two-stage bids
• Recent relevant experience in the sector in a tier One contracting environment
• Confidence and drive in dealing with the client team, sub contractors and external stakeholders
• Enjoy motivating and mentoring your team and junior members of staff
