Renewables Breakdown Engineer
Renewables Breakdown Engineer – a role that involves providing maintenance and repair services for our renewable energy installations across the region. The position requires diagnosing and rectifying faults, providing technical support and advice, and ensuring all work meets safety standards and regulations. Strong communication and collaboration with engineering and customer‑service teams are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faults within renewable energy central heating and hot water systems.
- Provide technical support and advice to customers and colleagues.
- Maintain high levels of customer care in interactions with clients and tenants.
- Communicate work updates and progress, completing required paperwork electronically and manually.
- Adhere to Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records.
- Comply with stock ordering and auditing procedures to ensure parts availability.
Key Requirements & Attributes
- Friendly and professional attitude, building strong relationships with clients and tenants.
- Experience with renewable energy heating and hot water systems is essential.
- Skilled in problem solving and decision making.
- Gas qualifications are desirable.
- Valid driving licence.
- Completion of appropriate criminal and reference checks before starting.
Working Hours
5 days per week (Mon – Fri) 8 am to 5 pm – 40 hours, 1 hour lunch each day.
