Electrical & HVAC Shift Engineer

The Peninsula London is seeking to hire Electrical & HVAC Shift Engineer who will ensure the maintenance and repair of all electrical equipment and HVAC systems throughout the Hotel and Residences, complying with all building regulations and mandatory inspections.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure engineering maintenance requests are carried out timely and to a good standard per policies and procedures, maintenance programme and operation schedule.
• Service and repair various types of electrical equipment such as laundry, kitchen equipment, motors, and report any equipment affecting hotel operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical panels/equipment and circuits, including lighting and dimmer equipment across the hotel.
• Inspect and test refrigeration and catering equipment to ensure compliance with industry guidelines and regulations.
• Cooperate and coordinate with engineers, external contractors and other departments to provide specialized guest services.

General Requirements

• Minimum 3 years in a similar role in a similar environment.
• Trade certified or NVQ level Electrical Engineering.
• Good understanding of building services and relevant rules and regulations.
• Effective communication and good problem‑solving skills, organised and detail oriented.
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness and ability to work night shift duties as required.
