Sales Consultant

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our growing team in Wembley, London.

As a Sales Consultant at Black Steel Doors, you will be the first point of contact for many of our clients, helping homeowners, architects, interior designers, developers and contractors find the right steel door and glazing solutions for their projects.

This is a consultative sales role focused on building relationships, understanding client requirements and guiding projects from enquiry through to completion. You’ll work with a premium product range and play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inbound sales enquiries via phone, email and website leads
• Qualify opportunities and understand client project requirements
• Provide expert advice on steel-framed doors, partitions and glazing systems
• Prepare quotations and proposals using company systemsFollow up enquiries and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
• Build strong relationships with homeowners, architects, designers and commercial clients
• Maintain accurate customer records within our CRM system
• Coordinate with the operations and installation teams to ensure a smooth customer journey
• Work towards individual and team sales targets while delivering excellent customer service

Requirements

• Previous experience in a sales, customer service or client-facing role
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Confident and professional telephone manner
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Self-motivated and target-driven
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Comfortable using CRM systems and digital tools
• Experience within construction, glazing, steel doors, interiors, architecture or a related industry
• Experience selling bespoke or high-value products
• Understanding of architectural drawings or construction projects
