Summary: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a GP to join a forward‑thinking practice in the Workington area. The practice offers flexibility in the number of sessions, with a preference for working days including Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Location: Workington.

Practice Overview

• Accredited GP training practice and Tier 2 sponsor.
• Experienced multidisciplinary team (ANPs, Paramedic, Pharmacists, Practice Nurses).
• Reasonable workload: 15‑minute face‑to‑face appointments, approximately 32 patients per day.
• No routine home visits.

Role

• GP: salaried initially, with potential progression to Lead GP and higher session rate.
• Sessions: 4–8 per week, 15‑minute appointments, approx. 30 patients per day.
• Salary: £9,500‑£12,500 per session (up to £10,800 per session initially); additional development available.
• Benefits: 6 weeks annual leave, 1 week study leave, NHS pension, indemnity insurance.

Requirements

• Qualified as a General Practitioner.
• Registered with the GMC & UK Performers list.
