Responsibilities

The SENCO will lead and manage all aspects of inclusion, ensuring effective support and interventions for students with additional educational needs. The position involves coordinating the SEN department, collaborating with teachers, support staff and external agencies, and driving continuous improvement in educational provision for all pupils.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified with the national SENCO qualification (or willingness to complete it ASAP)
• Experience working with primary school SEN children
• Holding QTS and preferably the NASENCo award
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Demonstrated commitment to raising standards for all students
