Healthcare Assistant Jobs in the UK with Visa Sponsorship
About the role:
We are a CQC compliant care company looking for experienced, caring and compassionate Care Assistants to support our clients in their own homes across Grimsby, Cleethorpes, Louth, Market Rasen, Binbrook and adjacent villages. You will be providing person centred care according to individual care plans, promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing.
Main responsibilities
- Personal care assistance including washing, showering, dressing, grooming
- Provide mobility and transfer assistance utilising equipment in accordance with moving & handling guidelines
- Give medication as per care plans and business policy
- Prepare food and help with feeding as needed
- Light household duties include cleaning and laundry
- Companionship and emotional support to help alleviate loneliness and social isolation
- Help with shopping, appointments and necessary errands
- Keep accurate and up to date records of care in compliance with CQC guidelines
- Report any changes in a client’s health or wellbeing to the relevant supervisor
- Always respect the dignity, privacy, choice and independence of clients
Basic needs
- Previous experience in care necessary
- Full UK driving licence and own transport (travel between calls)
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- A caring professional and reliable approach
- Dedication to safe, effective person-centred care
