Carpenter Multi Trader – Walton‑on‑Thames (Responsive Maintenance)
WPS is looking for a Carpenter Multi Trader to join our Responsive Maintenance division. The role focuses on restoring void properties to a high standard for new residents.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carry out repair, renewal, and reinstatement works within void properties.
- Complete a variety of carpentry and multi‑trade tasks to prepare homes for re‑let.
- Advise your Supervisor when additional trades are required.
- Work independently or alongside other operatives to complete void refurbishments.
- Complete daily work sheets detailing tasks completed and materials used.
- Ensure all works are finished productively, safely, and to a high standard.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- NVQ L2 in Carpentry or a similar trade qualification.
- Proven experience in carpentry and multi‑trade work, preferably within voids or social housing.
- Ability to deliver high‑quality workmanship while meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
- A customer‑focused attitude and commitment to maintaining property standards.
