Female Personal Assistant

About The Role

In this role you will provide personal care support and assistance with daily living activities. Duties include toileting, showering, getting in/out of bed, dressing, cooking, meal preparation, medication reminders, housekeeping, socialisation and building a trusting relationship. Individual needs may vary day to day and other duties may be required as reasonably required.

Employees must report all accidents and hazards immediately and ensure the safety of the individual. The position requires a satisfactory DBS disclosure (costs covered).

Transport Requirement

Car driver and car owner – must have business insurance.

• Honest, reliable, trustworthy and punctual.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect privacy, including prohibited use of social media in relation to the role.
• Work on own initiative.
• Follow instructions accurately.
• Patient, supportive and caring.
• Good listening skills and ability to provide non‑judgemental emotional support.
• Empathetic.
• Prior caring experience is not essential, but genuine interest in supporting people with a disability/illness is required.
• Self‑motivated and willing to get involved.

Hours per week

Leave cover for any day of the week and some hours available soon for weekends as PA will be off following an operation.
