Learning Support Officer – Coety Primary School

Salary: £20,499-£21,167 per annum.

32.5 hours per week (8:30 – 15:30).

Term Time Only – Permanent.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Support children to succeed and flourish behind the scenes.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, families, staff and governors.
• Work confidently both independently and as part of a team.
• Deliver daily support, including a 30‑minute lunchtime duty.
• Support the wider school day and contribute to school improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• Hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent), and/or have recent relevant experience working with children in a school or childcare setting.
• Cares deeply about children and their wellbeing.
• Is proactive, adaptable and enjoys working collaboratively.
• Committed to continuous professional learning.
• Brings positivity, warmth, and energy into the school environment.
• Proficiency in Welsh is required.
