Job Description:

As a Support Officer you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of services to homeless households.

£20,081 – £20,639 per year

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a wide range of services to homeless households.
  • Organise and prioritise workload effectively, responding and adapting to changing priorities to deliver a quality service.
  • Communicate and liaise effectively with a variety of agencies.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in a housing support service with clients in vulnerable or distressed situations.
  • Understanding of current issues and legislation related to the protection of children and vulnerable adults.
  • Practical knowledge of a variety of IT packages including the Academy and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience managing your own caseload in a reactive role.
  • Evidence of experience and achievements related to the five specific behaviours framework: Efficient, Flexible, Leading, Working with Others, and Performing.
  • Experience dealing with vulnerable people.

Remuneration and Legal Information

This post is excepted in terms of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Scotland Act 2020.
