Job Summary

Data Quality Coordinator / Personal Assistant – University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the administration of research within the Southampton NIHR Clinical Research Facility, supporting Nursing, Administration, and Study Management teams.
  • Organise and prioritise multiple diary appointments, rearrange as necessary to accommodate urgent meetings, and inform the appropriate manager of any changes.
  • Manage study documentation and protocols, and support data-related tasks.
  • Deliver systems training to end users and provide frontline support.
  • Utilise Microsoft applications for managing, analysing information, minute‑taking, and agenda setting.

Qualifications – Essential

  • A level or equivalent in Maths, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working as a Personal Assistant or in business administration.
  • Experience using CRFManager or similar advanced in‑house software systems.
  • Experience in an NHS research role.
  • Experience delivering systems training to end users.
  • Experience in data management and working with study documentation, including protocols.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team.

Qualifications – Desirable

  • Training for trainers or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in a busy environment.
  • Experience with data analytics.
  • Experience developing training materials.
  • Teamwork activities.

Permanent contract, Band 4, salary £28,392 to £31,157 a year pro rata, full‑time or part‑time working pattern.
