Overview:
My client is seeking a skilled Legal Secretary/Assistant to join a dynamic team in Central London. The ideal candidate will have at least a year of experience supporting fee‑earners with admin tasks on their caseload of residential property matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing full administrative support to the conveyancing team.
- Handling client onboarding, including opening matters on our case management system, AML, and compliance checks.
- Liaising with all parties to progress transactions.
- Diary management, arranging appointments, and handling telephone/email enquiries.
- Maintaining accurate records on case management systems and document management systems.
- Supporting post‑completion processes and file closing procedures.
Qualifications + Experience:
- Minimum 1‑year of experience supporting fee‑earners on property administrative matters.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Be able to demonstrate confidence and self‑motivation.
- Able to work to strict deadlines and in a pressurised environment.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- IT literate.
- Be able to demonstrate a willingness to learn and to progress.
