Support Worker – Full Time Contracted Hours

Location: Plymouth. Pay: £12.71 per hour with 45p per mile for adjoining shifts. Annual leave: 28 days.

Job Responsibilities

Support adults with a wide range of needs to live safely, happily and independently in their own homes. Key duties include:

  • Assisting with personal care and household tasks
  • Helping with shopping and community activities
  • Transporting clients or enabling them to access community engagement (may involve use of personal car)
  • Encouraging social engagement and hobbies
  • Administering medication
  • Promoting independence and wellbeing

Clients may have mental health needs, limited mobility, non‑verbal communication, companionship needs, Down syndrome, OCD tendencies, acquired brain injury, speech impediments or cerebral palsy.

Qualifications
