Support Worker – 2 positions available, 1 permanent and 1 maternity cover.

£13.45 – £14.05 per hour
Hours
23.5 hours per week – 08:30 to 21:00 twice a week.
About Glebe
Glebe Road is a registered mental health service supporting up to six people by providing flats and studio apartments. The service offers 24‑hour support from an experienced staff team with input from clinical specialists. It follows the Recovery Star Model, helping individuals develop skills and confidence to manage their own mental health relapse strategies and gradually move to Supported Living.
Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day support and routine for residents.
- Prompt independence while helping them live a fulfilling life.
- Support and encourage the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
- Maintain health care needs, including accompanying residents to routine appointments or administering medication.
- Teach life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
- Assist with personal care as required.
- Help with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
- Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
Qualifications and Training
No prior experience in the care sector required; full training, coaching and development will be provided.
