Site Services Technician – Ashby de la Zouch

On site, Monday‑Friday, 08:00–16:00. Join our snack‑loving team as part of the Engineering team, reporting to the Site Services Manager and playing an important role in keeping our site running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Completing statutory servicing and inspections.
• Ensuring all documentation is accurate, timely and audit ready.
• Supporting electrical installations, maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnosing issues and completing safe, effective work.
• Maintaining essential site services equipment (boilers, compressors, effluent plant, LOLER checks, legionella controls, sprinklers and fire systems).
• Carrying out general building and site maintenance (basic joinery, plumbing, installations and day‑to‑day support across the site).
• Driving continuous improvement across Engineering to improve equipment performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition qualification (BS7671) – essential.
• Recognised electrical background (ideally an apprenticeship, C&G Level 3 BS2365 and BS2391).
• Flexible and proactive approach.
• Ability to multitask, problem‑solve, and work well under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfortable working independently and with colleagues across the site.
• Basic IT and data recording skills; use Word, Excel and log information accurately for audits.
