Recovery Driver Class 1

Assington Autos was established in 2017. Since then, the company has grown and expanded and has increased the fleet.

We have a vacancy for an experienced Recovery Driver Class 1 at our Assington yard (Suffolk). The role is to collect scrap/damaged vehicles covering all areas and all makes and models.

This role suits someone with high levels of energy and ambition, who is extremely self-motivated and can complete the tasks. The successful candidate will have a high level of knowledge and experience within the motor trade.

Key Duties

• Complete Vehicle Daily Safety Checks before leaving site.
• Liaise with office staff regarding your workload.
• Collect scrap/damaged vehicles daily.
• Ensure all communication with customers is conducted in a courteous and professional manner.

Key Skills

• Experience in Class 1 driving/recovery. Highly customer focused.
• Good knowledge of relevant Health & Safety procedures.
• Flexible with working hours, as occasionally business needs to work additional hours.
• Relevant training will be given dependant on the individual’s experience and ability to meet the job description.

• Vehicle experience

• Strong work ethic and commitment
• Full Time / 5 days
