Children’s Support Worker (Orchard Court)

Mirfield, WF14 0DQ

Salary

£12.81/hr

Hours

Part time weekends only, 15hrs per week. Day shifts only, mixture of mornings and afternoons, occasional weekend work. Long shifts available once settled.

Responsibilities

The role is to provide day‑to‑day holistic support to children and young people with complex needs. Key duties include:

  • Building trust and encouraging positive routines.
  • Helping each child develop confidence and life skills.
  • Providing support in line with the eight intrinsic principles.
  • Participating in the activity calendar and promoting a positive home environment.

Qualifications & Expectations

We ask that you have at least 6 months of UK‑based work experience and hold an Enhanced DBS check. Desired qualities include confidence, curiosity, kindness, dignity, and a positive attitude.
