About the role

Do you have good experience working with children with disabilities and complex needs? Are you passionate about ensuring all children can achieve their full potential? Do you have management experience? If so, we invite you to join our team at the Stephen Wiltshire Centre.

The Stephen Wiltshire Centre is a specialist Family Hub that provides Short Breaks to children with disabilities and complex needs in London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. We offer after‑school sessions, weekend Short Breaks, Holiday Provision and Play and Stays for children with additional needs aged 0‑8, as well as Outreach in the Community for selected children.

We are recruiting for the position of Casual Short Breaks Delivery Worker. The worker will deliver Short Breaks for children aged 0‑18, ensuring all aspects of their needs are met both within the Centre and in the community. Delivery is subject to OFSTED and CQC standards, and the role supports engagement in quality short breaks for our children.

Key responsibilities

Deliver Short Breaks to children with complex needs and disabilities; support children’s development and wellbeing; ensures compliance with OFSTED and CQC standards; collaborate with colleague team and family members; maintain accurate records and report any concerns.

Qualifications & experience

Previous experience working with children with disabilities and complex needs; management or supervisory experience preferred; strong commitment to child welfare; good interpersonal and communication skills; willingness to work flexible hours.
