About the Role

We are looking for a highly dedicated Business Support Assistant. The primary focus of the role is to provide admin support to our staff in the Public Health, Communities, Law & Governance Department. This is a busy role with lots of variety. The ideal candidate will be great at multi‑tasking, able to prioritise their workload and enjoy working with people in a fast‑paced environment.

The post holder will have a flexible approach to support the business needs of the Department. Key tasks will include:

  • Support to staff
  • Diary management and organising meetings
  • Taking minutes and organising internal and external room bookings
  • General administration activities

About You

  • Previous administrative experience at a similar level
  • Use of ICT applications relevant to the post, i.e., Outlook, TEAMS, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
  • Literacy/numeracy skills appropriate to the job
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organisation skills and ability to prioritise work
  • Able to operate effectively as a member of a team and with minimum supervision
  • Ability to produce accurate, high‑quality work
