About the role
We are seeking an organised and proactive Corporate Services Assistant to provide high-quality business support across the organisation. You’ll provide responsive administrative support across teams, serving as secretariat for internal meetings, helping coordinate meetings, managing systems, and ensuring colleagues have what they need to work effectively.
You’ll take ownership of essential corporate service tasks that keep the office and teams functioning efficiently. This includes managing stationery stock and office supplies, raising purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, and managing stationery deliveries.
A key aspect of this role is supporting the RSE’s Data and Insights working group. You’ll play an active role in maintaining and improving the quality of our data by carrying out essential tasks within the CRM system. In addition, you’ll help produce accurate data outputs for key reports, including for the Scottish Funding Council.
About you
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in data handling
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook
- A can-do attitude with using databases/CRM systems
- Financial experience, including raising POs, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring invoices are received and paid.
- The ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team
