We are seeking a compassionate, resilient, and enthusiastic Children’s Therapeutic Support Worker to join our dedicated team in Tiverton. This is an opportunity to be part of a service that provides therapeutic care and support to children and young people in a nurturing and structured environment.

The Role
As a Children’s Therapeutic Support Worker, you will:
- Build positive and trusting relationships with children and young people
- Support emotional wellbeing and personal development
- Promote independence, life skills, and positive behaviours
- Participate in activities, appointments, and community engagement
- Contribute to therapeutic support plans
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals
- Have a full UK driving licence
- Be willing to work weekends on a rota basis
- Be willing to undertake sleep‑in duties
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to remain calm, resilient, and professional in challenging situations
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Have experience working with children and young people
- Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or be willing to work towards it
- Have experience within care, support work, education, youth work, or mental health services
