Care Assistant
We are looking for Care Assistants to support vulnerable adults living in their own homes. This is a permanent part‑time position based in Biggleswade and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Help service users overcome mobility problems and use aids, adaptations, and personal equipment.
- Perform domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry, and emptying commodes.
- Assist with personal care, including washing, bathing, and toileting arrangements.
- Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks, and drinks, and assist with feeding if required.
- Support with preparing and administering medication.
- Provide end‑of‑life care support as needed.
- Deal with unsociable hours and alternative weekend shifts.
Requirements
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle; driving is essential.
- No previous experience is required, but you must demonstrate compassion, excellent communication, problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to high‑quality, respectful care.
