Stockland Green School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and inclusive team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with students who require additional support to achieve their full potential and successfully transition into secondary education.
Key Responsibilities
Support and contribute to the delivery of a Nurture Group, helping students develop confidence, resilience, and positive learning behaviours.
Plan and deliver small group intervention sessions to support academic progress and personal development.
Provide effective in-class support, working alongside teaching staff to ensure all students can access learning and achieve success.
Support students during the important transition from Primary to Secondary School, particularly those who may not yet be secondary school ready, helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to thrive.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
Holds a relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
Has experience working with children or young people, preferably within a school setting.
Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Is patient, caring, and committed to supporting students’ educational and emotional development.
Can work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
Has a proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning and wellbeing.
