Qualifications & Experience

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• UK digital tachograph card
• Full DQC (CPC card)

Preferred experience: Curtainside trailers, paper reels, cardboard, ratchet strapping.

Responsibilities

• Start time 17:00 and cover shunter duties as required
• Ensure vehicles comply with legal requirements and report issues to the DC team
• Secure and accurately deliver loads in charge
• Follow delivery instructions accurately and effectively
• Drive safely and efficiently
• Comply with health and safety standards, The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

Compensation

Monday to Friday nights: c. £41,800 per year plus bonuses. Bonuses include SAFED Fuel Bonus (up to c. £1,000) and Pallet Bonus.

Salary figures include enhanced rates after 10 hours and up to £5 per day meal allowance (tax free).
