Role overview

This role is an exciting opportunity in Sky Sports Football, working across our portfolio of rights, from Premier League, EFL, WSL and SPFL – to support programming like Soccer Saturday & Saturday Social. You will be part of a production team responsible for creating world‑class content across all formats and platforms.

What you’ll do

  • Working in a live gallery environment, managing analysis, montages and content from the ground.
  • Planning, shooting, and creating openers, montages, and features across our portfolio of football output.
  • Devising content ideas for our upcoming live games.
  • Collaborating with Sky Sports News and digital teams to push our content across multiple platforms.
  • Working effectively under pressure, reacting quickly, and meeting tight deadlines in all environments.
  • Producing multi‑camera ENG/studio shoots.

What you’ll bring

Essential criteria

  • Proven experience and a desire for a career working in live galleries and outside broadcasts.
  • A knowledge and passion for football.
  • Good experience of self‑shooting, and self‑editing.
  • Proven experience of producing high‑quality multi‑platform content.
  • Good understanding of The Ofcom Broadcasting Code.
  • Good editorial and creative judgement.

Desirable skills and experience

  • Strong English language and written skills.
  • Candidates need passion, stamina, enthusiasm, creativity, and determination. You should be self‑motivated and adaptable – and demonstrate strong people skills.

How you’ll work

We’ve adopted a hybrid working approach to give more flexibility on where and how we work. The hybrid working expectations for this role are 3 days in the office per week. Your working hours will be flexible and include unsocial hours, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
