Retail Assistant – Part Time. Hours: 16 hours across 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello
• Help customers find the items they are looking for
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for customers to buy
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy

Requirements

• Friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work
• Enjoy being busy – the role involves juggling deliveries, tills, shop floor duties, cleaning and stock rotation
• Reliable – the small team depends on you to do your best on each shift and not let the team down
• A bit of flexibility with shifts – rotations are planned three weeks in advance, and commitments outside of work are considered
• Successful completion of an Employment Verification check
