Pay: £180 £220/day (DOE)

Duration: Part-Time (2 Days per Week) Long-Term

Luma Education Recruitment is seeking an experienced Primary Teacher to join a supportive school on a part-time basis, working 2 days per week. You will deliver engaging lessons, manage behaviour effectively, and support pupils of all abilities, helping them thrive in a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils in Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
• Create and maintain a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
• Support pupils academic, social, and emotional development
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress in line with school expectations
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
• Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures, and individual pupil support plans

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within UK primary schools
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
• Flexible, adaptable, and confident in delivering high-quality teaching
• Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service) or willingness to obtain one prior to starting
