Responsibilities

  • Collecting recycling, refuse and green waste from domestic properties in the Wem collection areas
  • Driving and loading is involved for this position
  • Daily vehicle defect checks
  • Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including the security and weight of loads
  • Accurately recording work completed using an onboard tablet device and reporting any collection issues that arise
  • Ensure the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up before leaving the area
  • Assisting other collection crews when needed

Qualifications

  • Cat C (Class 2) Licence
  • Digi / Tachograph Card / Driver CPC
  • Willingness to do a mixed loading/driving role
