Adjunct Faculty – Social Work
Job Description
Field-focused, practice-based role supporting students in their field placements. Responsibilities include experiential instruction, supervision support, and applied mentorship tied to CSWE field education outcomes, rather than traditional classroom-based course instruction.
Required Education and Experience
- Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution of higher learning and an active LCSW.
- At least two years post-master’s professional experience in Social Work.
- Experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education strongly preferred.
- Local applicants only; applicants must have and maintain their own legal status in the country in which they apply to teach.

Responsibilities
- Actively engage students through frequent interaction that motivates them to succeed, conveying genuine energy and enthusiasm for learning.
- Guide students in active collaboration and the application of their learning in problem- and project-based learning demonstrations.
- Provide rich and regular constructive feedback, utilizing rubrics effectively for assessment of student work, and acknowledging student accomplishments.
- Demonstrate relevant and current subject-matter expertise, and help students connect concepts across their academic program.
- Provide feedback to program chair on possible curricular improvements.
