About the Role
Acland Burghley School, an inclusive community comprehensive in North London, seeks an outstanding teacher of Design Technology to join from September 2026.
Responsibilities
- Deliver lessons in Design Technology, including food technology where appropriate.
- Develop and teach students innovative, problem‑solving and hands‑on practical skills.
- Support students’ self‑management and enable them to achieve high standards.
- Participate in extra‑curricular activities such as clubs and trips to galleries.
- Work collaboratively with the Creative Arts and Technology team to integrate technology across the curriculum.
Qualifications
- Well‑qualified teacher, eligible to work as an ECT or experienced teacher.
- Strong commitment to inclusive education and high expectations for all learners.
- Experience (preferred) in delivering food technology.
