Secondary Teaching Assistant What the School Offers

• Full academic year placement from September 2026 to July 2027
• 33.5 working hours per week, including half‑days on Fridays
• Weekly pay of £444 £513 via PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay)

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting teaching and learning across multiple subject areas
• Delivering small‑group and 1:1 interventions
• Supporting pupils with SEND needs in mainstream classrooms
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
• Promoting pupil confidence, engagement and progress

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a 2:1 degree or above from a leading UK university
• Has previous child‑centred experience
• Is flexible, proactive and committed to supporting young people
• Has strong communication skills and a positive attitude
