American Diner – Line Cook / Junior Chef de Partie – Longleat Forest

£13.86 per hour plus an average of £4.43 per hour in shared tips.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Line Cook / Junior Chef de Partie to join our Huck’s American Bar and Grill team. You’ll prepare, cook and present menu items to high standards, supervise Kitchen Assistants and manage kitchen operations in the absence of a Kitchen Manager.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Prepare and present dishes to high standards, ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with food safety and legal requirements
  • Manage stock, portion control and minimise food waste to meet cost targets
  • Support menu development and assist Kitchen Managers with procedures and standards

Your Working Hours

  • Huck’s American Bar and Grill is open 7 days a week from 4pm to 10pm
  • Full‑time contract, with shifts falling between 11am and 11pm
  • You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 150 hours over a 4‑week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
  • This role includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays

  • Ability to build relationships with colleagues
  • Kitchen Assistant experience
