As an Activity Leader, you are involved in the running of the sessions, ensuring the children are well looked after, engaged, supported and most importantly having fun!
You’ll inspire young people to develop their own creativity, self-esteem and to value integrity, respect and collaboration with others. We divide the children into age groups and have different, age relevant activities planned for the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Run “skills clinics” for children ages 8-14 each morning of Camp Williams, teaching a new hobby, practicing a favourite sport or introducing a new activity.
- Deliver sessions in science, athletics, tennis or other activities as required.
- Ensure children are engaged, supported, safe and having fun.
- Support the running of the camp and coordinate with other team members.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in coaching, teaching, leading or a relevant hobby activity.
- Strong enthusiasm for working with children.
- Over 18 years old.
- Eligible for enhanced DBS checks.
