Job Title: Senior Learning Support Assistant

Location: Tilbury

Start Date: September 2026

Salary: £20,343 – £22,415

Responsibilities

• Work closely with teaching staff to deliver targeted interventions, support pupils with SEND through EHCPs and IEPs, mentor other Learning Support Assistants, and contribute to the overall development and wellbeing of pupils across the school.

Qualifications and Experience

• NVQ Level 2 in Learning Support, Early Years, NNEB or equivalent qualification
• Experience supporting children within a school or early years setting
• Knowledge of child development and the National Curriculum
• Strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to coach, mentor and support other adults within the classroom
