Retail Assistant – Part Time

Position

Permanent part‑time retail assistant in Cross Hands, Carmarthenshire.

Hours & Pay

• 20 hours across 4 days per week (minimum 20 hours, 4 days, including weekends)
• Pay: £10.95‑£12.81 per hour; depends on age (16‑20: £10.95; 21+: £12.81)

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, assist with packing and leave a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for purchase.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep shops safe, clean and tidy.

Requirements

• Friendly, positive, hard‑working approach.
• Enjoy being busy; can juggle diverse tasks (till, stock, cleaning, etc.).
• Reliable and punctual; core member of a small team.
• Flexible with shift changes; rota planned 3 weeks in advance.
• Undergo Employment Verification check if offered the position.
