Job Summary

Our Lady of Lincoln Catholic Voluntary Academy is looking for a resilient and committed Pastoral and Attendance Assistant. This fixed term position is available until August 2027 and you will be working part time, for 22 hours and 30 minutes per week during the term time only.

Our Lady of Lincoln Catholic Voluntary Academy is a primary school located in the historic city of Lincoln, with an Ofsted Good rating. We are part of Our Lady of Our Lourdes Catholic Multi‑Academy Trust, bringing together 36 Catholic primary and secondary schools in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.

Responsibilities

  • Play a role in fostering students’ well‑being and academic success.
  • Work closely with the Headteacher and external agencies.
  • Design and implement tailored support programmes to improve behaviour, attitudes, and engagement.
  • Develop one‑to‑one mentoring relationships and group interventions to support students’ learning and personal development.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and families to address individual needs and enhance social and emotional well‑being.
  • Assist with the smooth transition of students at key stages in their educational journey.
  • Maintain accurate records, including safeguarding‑related actions, and uphold confidentiality in all interactions.
