Dental Decontamination Technician
An opportunity has arisen within the Oral Health Service for a Dental Decontamination Technician. This position is to work exclusively in a decontamination unit carrying out all aspects of the decontamination process of dental instruments. Experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
This is a part time permanent post over 3 days based in Wester Hailes Healthy Living Centre. Days and hours of work are Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, 8:30am – 4pm.
Salary will be pro‑rata.

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult) an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post. If the post is assessed as a regulated role, your appointment will be subject to joining the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
