Our client is a mid‑market UK bank and is looking to add a person to its equity sales team. They are open to levels of experience but some exposure to working in sales is essential.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain relationships with major institutional accounts
- Disseminate equity research, market colour, and bespoke trade ideas to clients
- Liaise with equity research analysts to organise corporate management meetings, roadshows, and conferences.
- Work closely with traders, investment bankers, and syndicate teams to maximise capital
- Oversee order progress, ensure smooth transaction execution, and provide ongoing portfolio/holding reviews.
Key Requirements & Skills
- Deep understanding of global financial markets, equity valuation metrics, and sector-specific catalysts.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to distil complex fundamental/technical data into clear, actionable pitches.
- A highly social, outgoing, and diplomatic personality with the ability to build long‑term buy‑side trust.
