2 or 3 day a week Housekeeper Bicester Oxfordshire

This family is looking for a housekeeper/mother helper to support their busy schedule. The role involves general housekeeping, laundry, calendar management, occasional driving for school runs, light meal preparation, grocery shopping, and helping the home run smoothly. The position requires working 3 days a week (Mon, Wed, Fri) for 6 hours a day, with some flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• General housekeeping, spring cleaning, laundry & ironing, linen changes, wardrobe management.
• Preparing school uniform for youngest, packing/unpacking boarding day bags.
• Light meal preparation / batch cooking and packed lunches.
• Grocery shopping and errands.
• School runs and occasional collections – driving required.
• Managing family calendar, appointments, doctors & dentist visits.
• Organising bedrooms and maintaining tidy spaces.

Bicester, Oxfordshire

Work Schedule

Days: 2 or 3 days a week (Mon, Wed, Fri) – 6 hours per day (18 hours/week). Start ASAP. Permanent position.

Compensation

£20 gross per hour.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Experience essential; enhanced DBS certificate (updated) and 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate required.
• Minimum of 2 professional referees, one must be current or last employer and be immediately contactable.
• Driving licence; must own a vehicle for driving to school and errands.
• Comfortable with pets – the family has two friendly dogs.
