Location: Newry – Southern Regional College Greenbank

Working Pattern

• 25 hours per week
• Monday – Friday
• 07:30am – 01:30pm

The Role

• Providing the highest level of cleaning service within your area of responsibility
• Responding positively, politely and promptly to all customer requirements and carrying out duties in a professional manner
• Conducting general cleaning services for offices, meeting rooms, toilets, and other areas across the site
• Ensuring all stocks are replenished in your area of responsibility
• Maintaining a clean and functional state of all equipment and machines used during work hours
• Familiarising yourself with and following all company procedures and regulations
• Participating in the Health and Safety Policy of the company and reporting any dangers or hazards to your Line Manager
• Keeping all offices, toilets, and amenity areas clean and tidy
• Complying with all health, safety & hygiene standards and regulations
• Reporting defective equipment, utensils, work surfaces, or any other health and safety issues to your Line Manager

The Person

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors is advantageous but not essential
• Previous work experience in customer service employment
• Current BICS qualifications
• Basic statutory training requirements: read, write, speak and listen to understand safety instructions and communicate with customers on a day-to-day basis
