The Opportunity
Reed recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join a well-established logistics operation based in County Antrim. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver seeking a stable, long-term role with consistent hours and a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries and collections across Northern Ireland
- Load and unload vehicles in line with delivery paperwork
- Complete daily and weekly vehicle safety checks
- Ensure full compliance with UK road transport legislation
- Maintain communication with the transport office throughout the working day
- Accurately record working hours using company systems
- Take responsibility for the safe handling and care of all goods
- Follow all company policies relating to transport, warehouse, and health & safety
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, ensuring regular washing and upkeep
Essential Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 Licence
- Driver CPC qualification
- Clean driving record
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience
- Strong knowledge of towns and cities across Northern Ireland
- Manual handling awareness/training
- Excellent reliability and time management skills
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
8:30am – 6:30pm (1-hour lunch break)
Flexibility required based on operational needs
