Job Summary
The successful GP will join our progressive clinical team at Thornton Road Surgery, a friendly and vibrant practice serving a diverse and supportive local community in Croydon. The role offers a balanced mix of face‑to‑face consultations and telephone appointments, ensuring excellent continuity of care while allowing flexible working styles. The GP will contribute to the management of blood test results and clinical documents, supported by an experienced administrative workflow team who process and streamline the majority of incoming tasks, meaning GPs handle only a small, clinically focused number of actions each day. Our well‑established network of clinical pharmacists provides further support with prescribing, medication queries, and repeat prescription management, allowing you to focus on high‑quality patient care. The postholder will have the opportunity to lead on key disease areas (monitoring trends in the Quality and Outcomes Framework, treatment, staff training and prescribing) and assist in developing appropriate health‑care services for a diverse patient list, including practice‑based commissioning, patient participation and health promotion.
