The Role
This is a newly created leadership position responsible for building and leading a global Technology Operations function. Reporting to the CTO, you will unify existing support, infrastructure operations, service management, and monitoring teams into a single high-performing organisation.
You will define the global operating model, drive operational excellence, and lead the adoption of AI and automation across technology operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead a global Technology Operations organisation.
- Establish consistent service management, incident, change, and problem management processes.
- Own operational resilience, business continuity, and disaster recovery frameworks.
- Drive AI-led automation across support and operational workflows.
- Develop operational reporting, KPIs, and service performance metrics.
- Partner closely with trading, risk, finance, and technology stakeholders globally.
Requirements
- Significant experience leading Technology Operations, Production Support, or IT Service Management teams within financial services.
- Proven track record of building and transforming global operational functions.
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- Experience with ITIL-based service management frameworks.
- Exposure to automation, AI, or operational transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, cloud, and enterprise technology environments.
