Director of Key Accounts (Airports Division) Hybrid Working£100,000 per annum + car allowance + bonus
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Leadership (Operational Focus)
- Take full accountability for the successful delivery and ongoing development of parking services contracts with one of the UK’s largest Airport Group, ensuring performance and delivery against all KPIs, SLAs, and commercial targets.
- Lead and inspire APCOA teams, driving a high-performance culture focused on service excellence, efficiency, and safety.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as the senior point of contact.
- Support and assist our client in the realisation and delivery of their own business plan and ambitions contact.
- Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, ensuring profitability and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and operational standards within a complex airport environment.
Business Leadership (Wider Role)
- Support the Director of Airports on strategic initiatives, transformation programmes, and business-critical projects.
- Act and deputise for the Director of Airports
- Play a key role and lead on continuous improvement initiatives, driving innovation and best practice across the business.
- Support bid activity and mobilisation of new contracts where required, bringing operational expertise to tenders and implementations.
- Contribute to the development and execution of operational strategies across the business.
What We Are Looking For:
- Proven experience in a senior operational and commercial leadership role, ideally within aviation, parking or related service-driven environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience of managing and developing large-scale contracts and delivering against financial targets.
- Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels, balancing day-to-day delivery with long-term planning.
- Experience managing complex stakeholder environments, ideally within airports or similarly regulated sectors.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage, influence, and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to operate at board and director level.
- Experience contributing to business transformation, projects, or multi-site operational strategies is highly desirable.
- Able to work independently, with minimal supervision and is highly efficient and productive.
