Room Leader – Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a room within the nursery, ensuring high‑quality care and education in line with EYFS.
• Support and guide the team, fostering a positive, collaborative environment and promoting professional development.
• Build strong relationships with children and families, ensuring each child’s individual needs are met and learning is supported.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must hold at least Level 3 qualification in a UK‑recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of the EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Leadership experience desirable.
• Enhanced DBS check required; all staff must hold a Disclosure and Barring Service certificate and complete safeguarding training.
