Assistant General Manager

Overview

We are looking for a dedicated right arm of the General Manager to support and develop our team while ensuring the business runs like clockwork. If you love sport, thrive in a club environment, and are passionate about leading people, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, coach, develop and care for team members, ensuring talent is identified and succession plans are in place.
• Maintain robust rosters and forecasting to support shift planning and staffing.
• Cascade communication from the General Manager to all departments, fostering a “one‑team” mindset.
• Provide first‑class service, seek and resolve customer complaints on shift, and raise standards daily.
• Implement house rules and ensure a safe, inclusive environment where staff can thrive.
• Plan and deliver monthly training sessions and celebrate successes with the team.
