Data Quality Assurance Team Leader

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Team Leader as part of the Data Assurance Team for Manchester NHS Foundation Trust.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Data Quality Assurance Clerks working to accurately validate pathways on Hive.
• Support staff to ensure accurate, timely and complete data is recorded on Trust systems.
• Focus on improving data quality at source and aid staff in understanding and correcting data quality errors.
• Support the Data Assurance Service Manager in establishing routine procedures to monitor team output and maintain a consistent high standard.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and team leadership skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Organised, diligent, with patient care as a primary concern and exceptional attention to detail.
• Understanding of patient pathways and prior experience with the Trust’s current EPR system, HIVE powered by Epic.
• Experience handling large data sets and confidence in using Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent knowledge of RTT pathway rules and awareness of other NHS national performance targets and access rules.
• Desire to progress into management.
