Project Manager – Fire Rated Glass Partitions And Glazed Doors

About the Company

Our client is a specialist in high‑quality glazed interior solutions within the construction sector, targeting a £7M turnover this year and working with Tier 1 main contractors such as SRM, Multiplex, BW and Skanska.

Role Overview

As a Contract Manager you will take ownership of multiple glass installation projects valued between £50 K and £5 M. The role offers high autonomy, the flexibility to work from home when not on site, and the opportunity to shape how projects are delivered.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple glass installation projects for Tier 1 main contractors.
• Program and sequence works with an in‑depth understanding of technical glass design and buildability challenges.
• Maintain a sharp focus on health & safety, effective project delivery, and commercial awareness.
• Lead and coordinate Site Managers, reporting directly to the Construction Director.
• Leverage centralised procurement and group buying power to deliver projects efficiently.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experienced Contract Manager with expert knowledge of internal glass and glazing systems.
• Stable employment history and a proven track record of successful delivery of multiple glass installation projects.
• Proven proficiency in programming and sequencing of works.
• Strong understanding of technical glass design and associated buildability challenges.
• NVQ Level 6 (or above) in Glazing preferred.
• Leadership capability to manage multiple Site Managers.
