Company: Quick Release_
Apply for the Experienced Project Analyst (PDM/PLM)
Location: East Midlands
Job Description:

With more new and exciting projects in development, if you have experience in the technical and analytical elements of PDM/PLM project delivery, and are looking to further develop your people, project or account management skills, then we’d love to hear from you.

We offer ongoing learning and development, impactful projects and a team that’s behind you all the way. We also progress people based on merit so you won’t find any glass‑ceilings or pigeon‑hilling here. Instead, we offer a range of career pathways to suit you, your skills and ambitions.

If you’re feeling ready for a new challenge, you can apply right now for openings across the East and West Midlands. We also welcome applications for future roles, projects and locations – either apply or reach out to us on LinkedIn!

The Challenge

  • Work alongside clients within your business unit (location) to get a deep understanding of their product development processes and the flow of information and reporting
  • As part of a project team, systematically address and improve the way these clients manage their product data – solving problems and shaping solutions to deliver the right outcomes
  • Further develop your people and project management expertise, through mentoring, learning and practice
  • Responsibility for delivering your own workstreams as you develop your understanding of QR_ PDM/PLM engagements
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and teammates and become a trusted and knowledgeable advisor to clients
  • Support deployments and development of our technical/software tools and solutions
  • Attend and contribute to regular team meetings, 1:1s and knowledge shares with SMEs, senior management and the wider QR team
  • Support the wide range of (QR internal) business improvement projects and initiatives (e.g. team building, events, CSR, diversity, pride, mental health, innovation labs, sports and music)

Location and working arrangements for different projects will always be flexible, but most projects will have a requirement to be on‑site for part of the working week. Our business units are split by region and team members are deployed within that region (unless by special arrangement).

Requirements

  • 2+ years expertise gained delivering technical/data-focused projects, ideally within engineering or tech industries
  • A first‑class or high 2.1 bachelors’ degree, master’s degree or PhD in any discipline
  • Project and people management ambitions – the desire to inspire trust and confidence from clients and teammates alike
  • The drive to take on more responsibility – determination to be the best, make a difference and drive change for people and planet
  • The ability to make sense of complexity and present compelling data‑driven stories and solutions that resonate with stakeholders
  • Exceptional professional written and verbal communication skills; you can walk and talk with manufacturing, technical and business contacts at all levels

Benefits

  • £38,000‑£50,000 starting salary plus other rewards and benefits
  • A highly motivated, diverse, talented and supportive team with a positive “people‑focused” company culture
  • Extensive induction training and ongoing learning and development
  • Projects with a variety of clients, locations and workplaces, all with real‑world impact
  • UK, European and World travel opportunities
  • Career progression based on merit and a choice of pathways
  • Lots of team events, sports clubs, CSR, mental health, diversity and wellbeing initiatives and a direct line to management and leadership for your ideas
  • The knowledge, skills and experience to ensure you’ll always be in demand, wherever your career may take you.
